FOREWORD 

The Guidebook to the Albanian Non-governmental Organizations for the year 2002 is a succession of the previous editions of Albanian Civil Society Foundation. Since the recent edition of the year 2001, a lot of data have changed.
Many organizations have changed their addresses, contact person and telephone or fax numbers. This makes it indispensable to republish this Guidebook time after time including all the changes and adding the new organizations that have been established in the meantime and managed to get informed about our Foundation and contact us directly or through the network of local coordinators.
We would like to note that all the information, this guidebook contains, was obtained through the Forms that the Information Unit ACSF compiled and distributed to all these forms have served as a basis for the gathering and updating of the data on the non-governmental organizations that the Information Unit of ACSF has recorded.
We are thankful to all the coordinators of ACSF working in different districts of Albania who rendered a great contribution by gathering the data on non-governmental organizations. They did their best, making use of all the possible resources to give complete information on non-governmental organizations.
